Local “comic” Jeffrey Jenkins had a “killer set” Friday Night at The Comedy Hut, according to local “comic” Jeffrey Jenkins. “He was hilarious,” said Jenkins’ friend Pete. “A lot of his stories are about sweet times we had in high school!”
Many of the other reviews weren’t quite as kind.
“He was really hard to understand, it was like he was speaking with a mouth full of aquarium gravel,” said one female attendee.
“I’d rather listen to my wife talk about her day at work,” said an apparently heterosexual male.
“I don’t know why nobody in town will book me. I think it’s cuz I’m a white guy and there’s all this diversity stuff going around. I guess these other white guys got grandfathered in,” Jenkins mused. “But I messaged The Comedy Hut on social media and I’ve been calling the manager every day to tell him to put me on as a headliner. I’m the real deal!”
Speculation is that Jeffery is delusional and is completely unaware of his lack of talent and grating, egocentric attitude.
When reached for comment, Comedy Hut owner “We don’t want Jeffrey back in this club for a guest spot… much less headlining. He was late, rude to the host, and spent the last minute of his set telling people to follow him on social media. Has he even done over 10 minutes before? Wait… he just texted me asking me when he was getting his check for the other night.”
